Having been given a bad name from previous owners, Woodpeckers aim was to shake the negative reviews that haunted them and start fresh in a new location with a new look. The owner, Nathan wanted a brand that could truly represent the quality of food they would be producing, but still be friendly and down-to-earth for the suburban and Subiaco clientele.

Stripping the old design back and refining a new typographic look, the brand needed a character that could add a touch of character. Petey the woodpecker sits atop the W and is integrated through the brand signage and collateral design. The reception to the refresh has been outstanding and Woodpeckers has a 90% positive rating on TripAdvisor.
